These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the AF Cosmetics website at afcosmetics.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

1. About AF Cosmetics

AF Cosmetics is the trading business operating this website and selling the products displayed on it.

2. Products and descriptions

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, fragrance information, images and prices are accurate. Product images may vary slightly from the physical product because of photography, lighting, screens or packaging updates.

Our fragrances are independently produced inspired fragrances. References to designer fragrances or brands are used to describe the fragrance inspiration. AF Cosmetics is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or manufactured by the designer brands referenced on the website.

3. Prices

All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling (£). Prices and delivery charges are shown before you complete your purchase. Unless stated otherwise, the price displayed for a product is the price payable for that product.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing or description errors before accepting an order. If an obvious error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you and give you the opportunity to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.

4. Placing an order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected at the stated price and on these terms. An order confirmation acknowledges that we have received your order; it does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.

We may decline or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or description error, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled goods.

5. Payment

Payment is processed through the payment methods made available at checkout. You must provide accurate information required to complete your purchase.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver across the UK. The delivery option and cost available for your order are shown at checkout.

Our currently configured standard service is Tracked 48 at £3.65. Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.

We will provide confirmation of your order and the relevant delivery information after purchase. If delivery is delayed, please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.

7. Cancellation, returns and refunds

Consumers buying online generally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of receiving their goods, followed by a further 14 days to return them. The statutory rules and applicable exceptions apply.

Because fragrance products are hygiene-sensitive goods, opened or unsealed products may be excluded from a change-of-mind cancellation where the relevant legal exception applies. This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If your order arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may ask for photographs or other information to help assess the issue. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Fragrance use and safety

Use fragrance only as directed on the product packaging. Avoid contact with eyes and do not apply to irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Keep fragrance away from heat, flames and other ignition sources where applicable, and store it safely away from children and pets.

Always check the product packaging for the most current ingredient, safety and usage information before use.

10. Liability and statutory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.

We are responsible for supplying goods that conform to the contract and applicable consumer protection law.

11. Website use

You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

Website content, branding, text, images and other materials belong to AF Cosmetics or its relevant licensors unless stated otherwise and must not be reproduced without permission.

12. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version applying to your purchase is the version in force when your order is accepted. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that you already have under applicable law.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you will also retain any mandatory rights and protections available to you under the laws that apply to you.
